If so, you might be the Student Assistant we are looking for at the Science Strategy & Portfolio Office at Arla Innovation Centre in Aarhus.

How will you make an impact?

You will join the newly established team "Science Strategy & Portfolio Office" at Arla Innovation Centre, Skejby, Aarhus. A team that is part of the Science department. We steer our research, delivering impact into the business and ensure our research efforts are visible both internally and externally. Our responsibilities cover:

Science strategy; Science portfolio management; Scientific partnerships; Science communication and the Innovation Digitalization Strategy.

Overall we will support the science department to deliver knowledge and results of importance for both product development and business efficiency.

This role will focus on coordination, planning and support of various tasks and activities within the team and across the science department. You will get the opportunity to work with 50 both Danish and International colleagues within the Science Department as well as with other Arla colleagues and external stakeholders in the field of dairy science and innovation. As part of this you will work closely with our scientific partnerships manager, who is responsible for creating and maintaining strong collaborations with our university partners.

You will be reporting to our head of Science Strategy and Portfolio Office. Your role will be to support the full department with tasks such as:

Yearly planning and coordination across the Science department (Meetings, Events, Fairs) Student coordinator for inhouse students (aligning with HR on guidelines, ways of working and point of contact for Arla Innovation student supervisors) Responsible for our Literature search ambassador network. Updating SharePoint site and activities.

In the role, you will be able to work for 10-15 hours each week alongside your studies and have the ability to design your schedule flexibly around your studies and exams.

You are also a good communicator and a team player who can collaborate effectively with different people and cultures. Furthermore you have/are:

Finalizing your last year on your Bachelor or just started on your Masters. Please indicate on your CV when you expect to graduate from your final education. Please note, that it is a requirement to be enrolled in a study programme in Denmark. Strong English skills, both written and spoken. Skills within Microsoft Office are high, and you master the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
