Want to work as a food guru, where you are in charge of preparing delicious food, educating your colleagues in the menu and creating memorable experinces for our guests? Come work with us
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
always providing consistent excellence in quality and presentation of all food to our guests preparing delicious food for our hostel dinners and eatery ensuring a healthy and nutricious staff lunch training and educating colleagues in the menu, etc. ensuring a fully stocked buffet and counter cleaning and maintaining a high level of hygiene in all areas of the kitchen..You are the one responsibile for all areas of the kitchen checklist on a daily base.
We expect you to:
treat all of our guests with a friendly and service-minded attitude be a dynamic and energetic team player keep cool when the pressure hits and enjoy the fast pace be neat, stable and full of gumption have experience from a similar position be flexible and willing to work both evenings and weekends be fluent in both written and spoken English And most importantly - a smile is contagious - in a very positive way. We need to see yours so we can spread that feeling of being welcome, safe and happy.The part-time position is a minimum of 10 hours per week and possibly more if needed.
The on-callers will have no guaranteed hours, but are expected to jump in, when needed.
Whether you are interested in a part-time position or joining our team as an on-caller, the job will primarily be in the morning or evenings and during the weekend.
We’ll give you the chance to
become part of a fun and energetic team working in an informal but professional atmosphere develop both personally and professionally influence and make your mark on what a hostel is and should be work in an exciting and vibrant international environment.You will also become a part of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, where you have colleagues from 12 other hotels and 1 hostel. We have many opportunities to develop within the group and will gladly listen to your needs. We love to see our employees grow.
Experience within the hospitality/service industry will not hurt your chances; however, it is not a requirement.
Danish is not a requirement, any knowledge to other languages is an advantage.
