Job description
This biotech organisation is developing its infinitely scalable gene therapy manufacturing platform and will leverage various disciplines to do so.
As such, the Technician will be involved in several areas of research, carrying the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring successful execution of laboratory-based operations and experimentsLaboratory documentation, including electronic laboratory notebook record keeping, protocol writing, and report writing
• Help with daily lab maintenance tasks, e.g., ordering, deliveries and inventory
• Equipment maintenance and liaison with external engineers
• Laboratory supervision, troubleshooting and ensuring a safe working environment

  Requirements

  • Education as laboratory technician or equivalent, biotech/pharma work experience is a plus
  • Experience with gene therapies or other advanced biopharmaceuticals
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
  • Highly fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Practical experience in one or both of the following areas:
    • Molecular biology techniques such as: qPCR, PCR, cell-based assays, DNA analysis.
    • Protein analysis techniques such as: SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA, HPLC.
    • Bioprocessing techniques such as: fermentation/cell culture, FPLC, TFF, and/or formulation.
