To ensure compliance, we have created a separate position responsible for taking care of the areas of Risk, Compliance and GDPR. It is essential for the success in this role, that you have experience and strong knowledge within Danish law and regulations, GDPR contractual clauses and Danish labour regulations. If these are areas you are passionate about, we would love to receive an application from you. You will have a central role in ensuring processes and quality assurance in Scania Danmark. In addition to Scania Danmark, you will be part of the Scania Group's Compliance, Risk and GDPR groups and have the opportunity to collaborate with several talented colleagues globally. The position is newly established in Denmark reports to the CFO of Scania Danmark.

Areas of responsibility:
-    Local owner of all Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal topics on behalf of the CFO
-    Legal and compliance support to all local teams – for example, advice on:
o    Live business transactions such as tenders or new contracts
o    Correct application of internal policy requirements 
o    Local laws and regulations implementation
-    Local GDPR manager and Export Control support
-    Legal risk monitoring and reporting 
-    Internal Control System implementation, review support and closure of findings
-    Group and local policy implementation and tracking 
-    Proactive process and system reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and laws/regulations 
-    Promoting the proper handling of hints regarding potential Compliance violations and its direction to the appropriate channels (e.g. internal channels of SCANIA, Whistleblower Hotline of the Volkswagen Group, Investigation Office of TRATON Group)

-    Promoting a Compliance, Integrity, Risk and speak up culture inter alia through trainings and communication campaigns 
-    Assisting in the formulation of documents of a legal nature
-    Secure ongoing Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal updates and education to local management team
-    General business support

We are looking for someone with the following competences, skills and personal qualities:
-    3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company.
-    Very good knowledge of Danish and English in speech and writing
-    Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
-    Flexibility and willingness to work with a wide range of legal issues and interaction with different teams and departments.
-    Relevant education from university/college within Law, Business Administration etc.
-    Experience and strong knowledge within Danish law and regulations, GDPR contractual clauses and Danish labour regulations
-    You are cooperative and able to build long-term relationships.
-    You have good communication skills
