Your role
As part of one of Europe’s leading water treatment manufacturing companies, you will as Purchaser play an essential role in securing timely, cost-effective, and high-quality materials.
You will get to collaborate closely with suppliers, fostering relationships, and introducing new partners. You will as well get to play a key role in the strategic development and management of our purchasing portfolio. Thereby, the role is crucial in contributing to the success of a growing organization, ensuring the enhancement of purchasing as a more robust and strategic asset for the company.
Your daily work will be at the head office in Stilling near Skanderborg, where we have consolidated the majority of our production activities. Here, you will be part of the procurement and warehouse function, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
Responsibilities
Generating and managing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and assessing vendor performance Responsibility of a supplier portfolio Benchmarking and negotiating price agreements Developing a strong relation with our key suppliers Maintaining accurate vendor master data Being an active sparring partner with all stakeholders within the company
Who are you?
We prefer that you have a commercial or technical background, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing. You possess advanced IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Familiarity with SAP is considered an advantage.
You have strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. To succeed in this position, we also find it important that you possess a strategic and can-do mindset and that you are eager to push the status-que.
Furthermore, as part of an international company, it is important that you have strong written and communication skills, both fluently in English and Danish.
