Global HR Operational Assistant, part-time ; Office

We are looking for you

We are looking for a Part-time Global HR Operational Assistant to support our People & Culture department in Denmark. You will act as the primary point of contact for all HR-related queries from our employees.

Your main duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our People & Culture department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws, in particular Danish employment legislation.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role 

 Qualifications & Experience  2 - 3 years of experience in HR; Detail-oriented, accurate and organized; Basic knowledge of Danish labor laws; Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments with a minimum of direction; Able to foster productive relationships; Strong professional ethics; Good analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficient in English and Danish; Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); Experience in communication with local authorities (individual or company needs).

What impact you’ll make Act as part of the HR global team that both acts and advises on local projects and impacts global decisions to constantly improve employees' experience at Star; Communicate with our global locations to coordinate employee-specific subjects (in English) Handle individual employee matters (e.g., payroll, benefits, PTO, visa or legal topics); Assess and maintain local employee benefits (corporate pension, team lunches etc.); Track vacations and absences for employees in Denmark; Act as a sounding board for management regarding HR solutions that include governmental programs and/or other research on labor law topics (mainly in Danish); Create employment agreements, addenda, termination agreements, and job certificates (in Danish);  Fill out official HR-related company documentation (in Danish); Communication (in English or Danish) with local external payroll and tax consultants throughout the whole employee lifecycle (e.g., gathering documentation for employee registration and administration, payroll and benefits administration, sick leaves/holiday/parental leave alignment, etc.); Communication (in English or Danish) with local external legal consultants on labor law issues like terminations, contract template renewals, etc.; Ongoing support of Star crew in our Danish location; Communication (in Danish) with local authorities like the Labor Agency, Immigration Office, etc., on people-related topics .
