Do you want to work in an exciting consulting environment with interesting projects?
Are you a mechanical engineer specialized in complex and sustainable solutions?
Then, this could be the next adventure in your career.

Turn challenges into sustainable solutions

To further strengthen our work with mechanical solutions in our Buildings & Industry division, we are looking for a mechanical engineer to join our team. We are approximately 40 team members working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects in Mechanical Engineering.

Your key activities will be:

To provide consultancy, including design and engineering, preparation of drawings and descriptions, coordination, follow-up, and supervision on HVAC, plumbing and ventilation projects. To work as a project engineer in teams or independently, but always in close collaboration with the other disciplines within COWI Building, focusing on sparring, innovation, and developing one's own skills, as well as the skills of the section. To work across COWI on projects within or outside the section, for example, with COWI International or on projects in other countries. And eventually: an opportunity to take responsibility for the mechanical discipline as discipline leader, and responsibility for other HVAC and ventilation specialists on projects, where together with the other disciplines, you deliver a project to the client."

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

A relevant degree in mechanical engineering, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience and interest in working in the design of mechanical solutions in the area within ventilation and plumbing. You speak and write Danish or English at a high and technical level.

Together with your dedicated and skilled colleagues, you will make an impact on the future sustainable society with your contribution to construction. At COWI, we have a strategy of always contributing to steer our clients in a sustainable direction. % of our revenue should come from projects that support this goal. Our aim is to make an impact and influence the future sustainable society, and we work on this, among other things, through sustainability management and certification.
