The position
Under proper guidance and support you will take up leadership tasks in close cooperation with the managers in the department. You will be following one manager and occasionally take tasks in the other teams as well. Examples of this can be:
• Facilitation of team development sessions
• Efficient secure planning and prioritization of daily operations
• Recruitment of new employees
• Participate in leader courses
• Plan & perform onboarding of employees
• Build and maintain relationship with stakeholders

These tasks will be done in cooperation with the leaders either where you will take the responsibility or where you act as trainee. Through your tasks you will support the leading, developing and shaping our teams and improve how we work with quality assurance. 

In this role, you will refer to the department manager and you will have an active part in the management group.

Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague passionate about working with people. You must have an ambition to become people manager meaning lead, coach, be a role model, motivate colleagues to deliver their best etc. To succeed, you must be visible with clear goal setting abilities, and coaching skills.

To succeed in this role, you: 
• Hold a Master’s degree within e.g., engineering, pharma and have preferable 3 years of experience from quality assurance, production or quality control
• Have proven leadership skills from other jobs, projects or spare time activities
• Are self-driven and ambitious
• Have a can-do attitude and proactively strive for higher levels of performance not being afraid of being challenged by peers and employees
• Are proficient in English 

You can differentiate your communication depending on the target group and present your arguments in a professional way. You are well organized and create strong results by engaging your colleagues in taking pride in delivering on their tasks. Lastly, you are curious and eager to learn in a respectful manner. 

About the department
You will join a highly dynamic and well-functioning department in BRD QA with many interfaces and stakeholders around the organization. The department consists of three teams who are supporting and overseeing QC laboratories, support functions to production and are in the core of quality processes and authority inspections. The department have a high level of self-governance, and the working relations are informal. We value good humour and an open and honest culture.
