Job Description:

PARSONS has been awarded a contract to automatize the operation of urban Copenhagen Rail traffic. and is currently looking to hire a :

Operation Control Center/SCADA expert, based in Copenhagen, Danemark

The employee will work closely with the team on client’s site, including the Project Manager and will be in charge to support the system activities.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Consolidate functionalities and requirements for Operations Control Center and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)

  • Organize coordination between all relevant stakeholders, including meeting and workshops.

  • Produce necessary synthesis to support decision making on key topics

  • Use DOORS to record requirements

  • Liaise with the system team (configuration, RAMS, requirements, operation, maintenance…)

  • Liaise with the subsystems (Rolling stock, CBTC, automated infrastructure, telecom, power supply, civil…) to consolidate needs

  • Report to Parsons project Manager and to client’s system manager

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduated in engineering

  • Expert in operation and Operation Control Center

  • 10 to 20-year experience in rail environment (metro, design phase, industry, operator)

  • Varied technical expertise in operation, safety, system and rail subsystems (RollingStock, signalling, CBTC…)

  • Team work

  • Task and result oriented

  • Fluent in English

  • Position based in Copenhagen, (can include partial home office)
