What’s the role about?
As our Senior Security Analyst you will be part of GSO Functional areas to develop and refine mitigation strategies based on insights gathered from joint assessments and information exchange.

Your key responsibilities include:

Act as a bridge between security testing, Incident Response, Security System Operations, and Data Analytics security teams, facilitating communication, joint exercises, and knowledge sharing to enhance overall security effectivenessEnsure assessments are conducted in a controlled manner and all findings are corrected or acceptedPlan and execute joint security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat emulation exercises to identify weaknesses and inform defensive strategiesShare insights gained from offensive and defensive operations to enhance the collective understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and effective defensive measures across our organization Take adhoc requests from GIS (Global Information Security) business areas to conduct testing on specific infrastructure or testing adversary TTP’s


We expect you to continuously initiate process improvements, tasks managements and activities on own initiative and recommend changes and improvements for approval from the business.

Candidate profile
The preferred candidate would have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or other relevant fields with equivalent job experience.
 

Over 5 years’ experience working in IT SecurityUnderstands risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating riskExpert on cyber threats and vulnerabilitiesKnowledge of red team tactics / pentesting of systems, security controls and how to best implement them to prevent threats

 

You also have good communications skills to present IT Security related issues to a broad audience ranging from technical personnel to management. You possess high degree of independence and integrity, be self-driven and take full ownership of all job assignments.

Novo Nordisk Advanced Security Operations (ASO) is compromised of multiple global functional areas including SOC, Incident Response team, Security Testing, Incident Management, and Vulnerability Management Office.  We operate in Ballerup Denmark, Princeton NJ, and Bangalore India.
