About the Team:

In 2024, we continue establishing our Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team - a passionate team of thinkers, makers, and doers focused on enabling transparency and prioritization across Pandora’s digital portfolio. Strategy, Portfolio & Planning is a developing team, with members both in Copenhagen and Warsaw. D&T’s portfolio consists of initiatives delivered either following our agile ways of working or more traditional methods. 

 

We work directly with colleagues, senior stakeholders, and digital teams, ensuring we have the right level of governance in place to deliver on Pandora’s strategic themes. In a defined cadence, we ensure transparency on the work, value and performance delivered by the delivery teams.

 

As our new Portfolio Manager, you will have dedicated areas of responsibilities within the team. Based on your experience and best practice methods, you are expected to drive, optimize, manage and, in some cases, develop portfolio management related processes. You will work directly with stakeholders and digital teams in specific tech domains and contribute to domain portfolio review meetings, ensuring we have right level of governance in place to deliver on Pandora’s strategic themes. The Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team collaborates closely with our global colleagues.

 

Your role as a Portfolio Manager:

  • Drive lean portfolio management processes spanning from strategic direction over funding to delivery and outcome measuring.
  • Ensure the right level of governance is in place—prioritizing initiatives that align to Pandora’s overall strategic themes.
  • Work closely with Delivery Directors to ensure consistent and effective delivery across the entire portfolio.
  • Drive the optimization and simplification of standard processes through tweaking and rethinking existing processes.
  • Drive transparency and prioritization of initiatives, guiding our delivery domains and teams in taking the best decisions for Pandora.
  • As this is a senior member within the team, you are expected to support and mentor less experienced colleagues ensuring we succeed as a team.

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • +7 years experience from a PMO or Portfolio Management function, supporting a complex and large portfolio.
  • +3 years experience delivering agile and waterfall projects as a project manager.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving a complex portfolio of initiatives across diverse teams and functions.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving portfolio risks and dependency as a strategic enabler to benefit realization.
  • Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile setups in tech organizations larger than 200 people.
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and the supporting tools.
  • Excellent at communication and stakeholder management
  • Structured with an operational and can-do mind-set.
  • Adaptable in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. PowerPoint and Excel  

 

Preferable if your experience includes one or more of the following:

  • Experience from hybrid setups (Agile/Waterfall) - could be from a transition period.
  • Understanding of financial terminology and monthly / quarterly / yearly processes
  • Experience working with complex system integration projects.
  • Experience with Jira and PowerBI
  • UPM experience
