For our Converter Design Team, within the technology department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Team Lead. The Converter Design Team has the “end to end” responsibility for converters in our wind turbines. The team is involved from the early concept development of converters to optimization in the installed fleet.

How to contribute to our vision>

As a Team Lead for the Converter Design teams, you will be responsible for creating a work environment that attracts and retains talent. You will be the team’s day to day leader supporting them in removing obstacles which limits their work in performing state of the art design. Together with the employees you will create individual career plans while ensuring that the overall competency for the team fits the need to execute the project portfolio. Together with the team you will maintain and develop design guidelines and design processes which enables the team to deliver in the different projects. Lastly, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders (projects managers, service procurement, production, HR etc.) as well as external stakeholders (sub-suppliers, universities etc.) to enhance the network of the team.

What you need to make a difference:

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment. You have at least 5 years of practical experience as a team lead or in converter design engineering.

The Ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering with practical experience with:

People Management

Converter technology

Product development

It is also important that you are familiar with working in large matrix organizations and able to handle many tasks and interfaces simultaneously.

Lastly, you must possess excellent English skills, both written as well as spoken.
