About the Role
At StormGeo, we're on a growth journey and are seeking an experienced commercial leader to join us as Sales Director Euro North. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a dynamic team, driving customized sales solutions within the Shipping and Energy industry. Your focus will be on motivating and guiding the team to achieve regional business plans while fostering long-lasting client relationships. If you're energized by operational tasks, strategic perspectives, and are ready to make an impact in a matrix organization, we want to hear from you.
The preferred locations for this role are Stockholm, Hamburg, Bergen, Oslo, and Copenhagen.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a senior team to provide customized sales solutions within the Shipping and Energy industry
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive company growth in these industries
  • Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Cultivate and nurture long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with developers for product customization
  • Contribute to achieving growth targets through personal sales execution
  • Collaborate closely with domain owners, operations, and customer support teams within a matrix organization structure

Core Requirements

  • Commercial leadership experience with a proven track record in Shipping, Onshore, Offshore, or the Energy Market
  • True interest in technology and excellent client-facing skills
  • Energetic with a strong analytical and conceptual mindset
  • Ability to inspire teams and interact positively with team members, colleagues, and clients on all levels
  • Experienced commercial leader capable of motivating and leading sales teams to achieve regional business plans
  • Energized by both operational tasks and strategic perspectives
  • Skilled at prioritizing, self-driven, and proactive
  • Comfortable navigating in a matrix organization and a true team player
  • Identify with core values: passion, integrity, bravery, and innovation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with willingness and ability to travel as required by business demands
