The position can be located in either Komorniki, Poland or Lynge, Denmark.

What you will do

Your main role will be to develop and maintain an effective trade compliance program for the EMEA region in line with global standards and local regulations. As an EMEA Trade Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible also for providing guidance and supporting business units in the EMEA region on trade compliance matters, including but not limited to, product HS codes, dual-use dangerous goods, and sanction screening.

Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to trade compliance policies and procedures.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, logistics, and supply chain to ensure timely and accurate execution of compliance activities.Participate in external audits and assessments conducted by government agencies and other external stakeholders.Keep up to date with changes in laws and regulations related to international trade, assess the impact on the company, and recommend appropriate actions.Coordinate and optimize transportation operations across the EMEA region, including inbound and outbound shipments and carrier service level management.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including export controls, customs, and sanctions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, planning, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure effective coordination of transportation and trade compliance activities.Collaborate with Global Procurement in building relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and other transportation providers to ensure high-quality service.Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to trade compliance policies and procedures.Identify and control risks associated with transportation and trade compliance operations, including safety, security, and environmental risks.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions for transportation and trade compliance activities for the European Distribution Center (EDC).

What you bring

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EMEA Trade Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with trade regulations and policies across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in trade compliance, with experience developing and implementing trade compliance programs in line with global standards and local regulations.

Experience and personal competencies 

Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in a relevant position, with business processes and a good understanding of end-to-end supply chain process, risk management, and logisticsMaster’s degree in business, Legal, Supply Chain Compliance, or other discipline of relevance in relation to Trade Management will be beneficial.Knowledge of export control and customs rules and regulations is essential.A proven history of effectively delivering projects related to transportation network optimization, such as cost, and performance will be a benefit.Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skills,Demonstrated solid communication and coordination skills,
