Qualifications
Your role / what will you do?
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Health & Safety (H&S) specialist with a strong background in project management and fire safety. This newly created role will be pivotal in establishing and managing health and safety systems specifically for Vattenfall's common offices in Denmark, with a significant focus on project management of safety initiatives and the implementation of fire safety standards and policies across all Vattenfall offices globally.
As the H&S Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive health & safety systems, with a particular emphasis on fire safety, ensuring compliance with the highest standards. You will play a key role in driving and managing health & safety projects that support our corporate mission, ensuring the well-being of our employees and aligning with Vattenfall's commitment to sustainability and safety excellence.
This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to take ownership of this new role, creating visibility within the organization and becoming the go-to expert on fire safety and H&S for our common offices.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Leading the project management of all health & safety initiatives within Denmark's common offices, with a strong emphasis on fire safety standards and policy implementation.
- Ensuring the development and execution of robust fire safety protocols, extending support to Vattenfallâs global offices to standardize fire safety practices company-wide.
- Acting as the main liaison for H&S matters within Denmark, taking ownership of the role to build visibility and establish yourself as the expert within the organization.
- Drive the implementation of Vattenfallâs World Class H&S strategy, within our common offices and corporate staff functions.
- Lead and manage projects aimed at improving health and safety standards, ensuring they are executed effectively and align with Vattenfallâs global objectives.
- Serve as the point of contact for fire safety coordination across all Vattenfall offices, ensuring that global fire safety policies are implemented and adhered to.
- Take ownership of the role by creating and driving visibility within the organization, positioning yourself as a key figure in Vattenfallâs safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Your profile / who are you?
We are seeking an experienced H&S professional with a strong background in project management and fire safety, ideally within a large-scale global enterprise. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading H&S initiatives that focus on non-operational settings, particularly within office environments. Your expertise in fire safety and project management will be crucial as you lead the rollout of fire safety standards across all Vattenfall offices. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership and ownership, taking charge of this new role to build visibility and drive safety initiatives forward. Experience in navigating complex, international organizations and collaborating with culturally diverse teams is essential, along with fluency in English and Danish. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
