If this sounds like you then look at our Lead Electricity Specialist position. You will step into a strategically important role where you are a cornerstone in our strategic journey ahead. Currently we are looking into an exciting project –building our new global headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark. It will be approximately 12,600 square meters on five floors and will house 660 employees – and you will have a huge impact on this project.

 

Become a part of our Technology and Digitalization department

As our new Lead Electricity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in setting the standard and direction for the entire electrical area within Facility Management. You will join our Technology and Digitalization department consisting of 12 people based in our Headquarters, Bjerringbro in Denmark and report directly to Senior Facility Manager, Søren Bjerre.  

 

The team is a competence center with different responsibilities, electricity, mechanic, security and digitalization. Together we set the direction and standard for technical solutions within production and office buildings. We have an important role in ensuring that future buildings/constructions can be certified within sustainability, e.g. DGNB, LEED and basically ensure that Grundfos achieves the set/defined sustainability goals.

Your main responsibilities:

As Lead Electricity Specialist, you will be global responsible for electricity and BMS (Building Management System) at our facilities. Therefore, you are the one who will set the strategic direction for the entire electrical area within building construction. Key accountabilities:

 

  • Support and involvement in exciting large office and factory building projects – e.g. our new HQ in DK
  • Support and involvement in projects related to renovations with a focus on sustainability and a focus on energy and water conservation
  • Research new technologies and set direction for future constructions
  • Support Grundfos reaching the defined sustainability targets
  • Ensuring focus on functionality and usability within the financial framework
  • Local legislation, and regulations relevant to the facility, including electricity supply and building management system (BMS).

 

In this position there is expected around 10-20 travel days – to visit our facilities worldwide.

 

Your background

We are looking for our new go-to-person in regards of the electrical agenda related to facility management in Grundfos. We are open to different backgrounds and experiences – the most important thing is that you are an electricity enthusiast by heart, are used to driving projects within facility and that you have experience within electrical utilities and control systems in large scale Factories and office buildings.
 

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

 

  • Have a higher educational background as marine engineer, electrical engineer or similar
  • Have experience within electrical utilities and control systems in large scale Factories and office buildings
  • Have experience from the construction industry, e.g., as a consulting engineer
  • Have the commitment to staying up to date with the latest technology in this area
  • Have relevant experience from working in an international environment is an advantage
  • Speak and write Danish and English fluently

 

As a person you are structured and focused on ensuring quality of your project deliveries. You are excellent at creating an overview through your methodical and analytical approach. You consider yourself as being a self-starter with a strong drive, and you can move and change things. Finally, you are excellent in interacting with stakeholders from different cultures and organizational levels and a competent networker.
