Join us as Cluster Lead for “Reduce Legacy” and contribute to reduce Danske Bank’s technical debt and modernize the backend of our systems to enable further improvements in customer experiences, efficiency, and stability. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader, who can build a new tribe with a dedicated focus on accelerating this journey. 
 

Who are we?

We are part of Technology & Services, and the Reduce Legacy Tribe is anchored within Tech Innovation & Foundation. You will oversee the establishment of a global team. In total Reduce Legacy will be more than 150 employees across locations. You will refer to the Tribe Lead and be instrumental in building up parts of the Reduce Legacy organization. The strategic goals for the tribe are linked to our strategy Forward ‘28, and the tribe is enabling Danske Bank to create a more simple, efficient, and digital bank. 
 

Responsibilities  

In this key role, you will co-build a Tribe together with the Tribe Leadership Team. This Tribe, comprising over 150 employees, will be committed to reducing Danske Bank’s technical debt, working diligently to enhance our digital offerings and improve our processes. 

Within the Tribe, you will be instrumental in promoting a culture of transparency, autonomy, and empowerment. You will develop an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, all while building genuine relationships with partners

As an empathic and unambiguous manager of managers, you will ensure we reach our goals. You will take ownership of end-to-end deliveries for all processes and initiatives in the cluster, as per the outlined design. This includes driving, motivating, and tracking progress in close collaboration with squads and units across the bank.

The role also involves aligning outcomes, progress, and risks with Tribe Leadership. This requires you to communicate a holistic view of Tribe and Cluster initiatives, providing a clear understanding of the interaction between current and future initiatives towards a larger goal. 

Finally, you will also undertake HR responsibilities for Chapter Leads or Product Owners in the cluster, further emphasizing your leadership role within the Tribe. 
 

Requirements Strategic mindset to merge business requirements with Reduce Legacy ambitions.  Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Significant leadership presence to inspire and motivate teams. Ability to collect and prioritize customer insights in an effective way considering strategic priorities, tech aspects as well as legal and compliance requirements.  Efficient in setting up and developing organizational initiatives with clear outcome, breaking down priorities into manageable deliverables and securing progress.  Experienced in catalyst leadership to other leaders focusing on building trust and building a collaborative environment by empowerment, proficiency, and autonomy.
