Hillerød, Denmark Ellab AS Full time

Are you passionate about managing payroll processes from A to Z while ensuring seamless time system control and support? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference? If so, we want you on our team.

Our journey – and the team
We are a fast-moving organization with a step-growth journey ahead of us. Our payroll is outsourced, but with approximately 200 employees in Denmark, it is time to bring the expertise in-house.

You will join a finance team consisting of 4 employees—you will refer to the Finance Manager. Your role is newly established, allowing you to influence how processes are set up and participate in onboarding a new payroll system.

Your main tasks will be the following:

Payroll process from A to Z – Handle payroll processes from start to finish with precision and efficiency. Time System Management—Controlling, handling, maintaining, and supporting our time system to ensure accurate records. Employee Data Maintenance - Maintain employee data in our time and payroll systems, including onboarding, changes, and terminations. Pension Scheme Management – Ensure accurate employee data maintenance in pension schemes and related systems. Accrual Calculation - Calculate payroll-related accruals with accuracy and attention to detail. Monthly Reconciliation – Perform monthly payroll-related reports for relevant authorities on time.

What competencies and mindset do you need to bring?
We need a well-structured and organized colleague with a good overview and a natural sense for detail. We expect you to be flexible and able to work from the office in Hillerød.

We aim to hire an experienced colleague with proven skills in managing payroll processes and related tasks. Your compliance knowledge is essential, and you must be familiar with local agreements and legal regulations for payroll and benefits in Denmark.

We use DataLøn and expect you to be comfortable with the system. We plan to onboard a new system, Zenegy Time and Payroll, within 2024. Experience with Zenegy is not required but will be an advantage.

Despite being a global company, we need a colleague who can communicate in Danish – both written and verbally.

Culture is essential to us all, in Ellab in general. Therefore, we hope to find a candidate who enjoys teamwork, especially when “going is tough”.
