Safety Advisor

NES Fircroft are looking for a Safety Advisor for a market leading operator based in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Human and Organizational Factors (HOF) Safety Advisor to implement a two-year Offshore Safety Culture Program sustainably to sites in the North Sea.

Scope of Work
• Oversee applying Human & Organizational Factor methods to
optimize the safety performance of offshore operations.
• Design and implement the safety culture program with internal
and external stakeholders and ensuring the integration of HOF
into all activities (meaning: toolbox talks, incident
investigations, hand overs, Leadership training).
• Define and manage the project objectives, scope, schedule, and
deliverables
• Coordinate the project team, contractors, and consultants
• Provide human factors expertise and advice on safety culture,
human reliability, incident investigations, and best practices
• Perform regular safety assessments, audits, and reviews
offshore
• Implement effective solutions and actions to address safety
issues and gaps
• Communicate and report on the project progress, status, and
outcomes
• Establish and maintain relationships with the client, regulators,
and other relevant parties
• Ensure the project meets the quality, safety, and environmental
Standards

Qualifications/experience:
• Master's Degree or equivalent in Human Factors, Safety,
Engineering, Management or other relevant discipline.
• The required education degree may be substituted by
professional experience involving similar work responsibilities
and/or additional training certificates in relevant domains.
• Project management experience
• Project management certification is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of experience in human factors engineering,
preferably in the offshore or energy sector
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex and challenging
projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Human Factors
engineering, safety culture, human reliability, incident
investigation and related standards and regulations.
• Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and
interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel offshore as required
