About the role.

This role is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting thorough investigations, evaluating risks, and contributing to the development and implementation of compliance strategies in regard to third parties.

About the department

As student assistant in Compliance, you will report to the Compliance Manager and work closely with the Due Diligence Specialist. Legal, which Compliance is a part of, consists of more than 30 colleagues all over the world who are responsible for legal matters and intellectual property rights. You will be joining a committed team that includes specialists in trade compliance / international sanctions, investigations, and due diligence.

Your responsibilities

Receiving training and coaching in how to conduct due diligence screenings as part of the introduction programme.

Conducting due diligence screenings of prospective business partners (customers, sales agents and distributors).

Collecting and analysing data from various sources to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Drafting due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for review by the Due Diligence Specialist.

Supporting the on-going monitoring and re-screening of our business partners.

Performing admin tasks related to the due diligence process.

Involved in various communication activities, such as communication campaigns, newsletters, company-wide surveys, and e-learning.

Supporting other parts of our compliance work, including trade compliance / international sanctions, e-learning, training amongst other things.

What you bring

You are a current Masters-level student in a relevant field, e.g. social science, law, business, humanities or similar. Please do not apply if you have already graduated.

Strong and relevant academic record.

Previous working experience.

Attention to detail and abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficiency in conducting research using online databases and other resources.

Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and draw conclusions.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate findings clearly.

Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent English skills. Other languages are a big plus. You are not required to speak Danish to apply for this position.
