KÃbenhavn, Denmark Lunar Full time

Be part of shaping the future of Lunar's fight against financial crime. Picture this: seamless, secure, and consistently reliable systems that set a new standard. If you're up for a coding challenge and have a fervor for ensuring services are not just valid, but stellar, we need you on board. Let's engineer some brilliance into the realm of Financial Crime Prevention. The tech world is ready for a change, and together, we're about to make waves. Ready to join forces?

At Lunar we are democratizing the power of money and changing the way we all bank, pay, and invest. We have grown by leaps and bounds since starting out in Aarhus in 2015 and are now considered a major player in the Nordics with offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo.

As we continue to scale our impact, we are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on Financial Crime Prevention to join our Tech department in Copenhagen. For this position, you will report to Søren Thiel, our Head of Technology - Finance & FCP, and work alongside two brilliant Engineers.

At Lunar, we work in squads, which are interdisciplinary teams with a composition of different skills. You will have the technical ownership over the microservices that support FCP, and as a squad you decide on the priorities, why and how to implement solutions, and the general way of working internally and externally. On a daily basis, you will get to work together with a sea of exciting skills: Your services must interact with the rest of our system's microservices, your data must be exhibited to our internal front-end team and you must make sure the right data is available for analysis and predictions for our data science team. Lunar is currently raising its ambitions in the Financial Crime area, aiming for best-in-class solutions that we hope you will help us build.

The main area of responsibility is development. However, as you will join a squad with a high focus on FCP, you are expected to take part in broader discussions in the squad as well, e.g. day-to-day processes, requirements management, and stakeholder management.

Your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Design and implement Go microservices for the FCP domain

  • Ensure the IT solutions support our loosely coupled and scalable microservice architecture with elegant GraphQL endpoints

  • Support various development initiatives to enhance threat detection and help present updates for the management team

  • Take responsibility for contributing and driving important product deliveries that support the functions across investigations, monitoring, and intelligence

To thrive in the role we think that you have:

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in developing IT solutions or something similar.

  • Minimum of a bachelorâs degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.

  • Fluent in English, Danish is a plus

  • Technical capabilities
    • Event Driven and distributed / microservice architecture

    • Event Sourced, Domain Driven Design

    • Go, GraphQL, and RabbitMQ are nice-to-haves but not a requirement to be a great match.

Join the journey today
