Design Technician

The Role :

As a Design Technician , you will help in the preparation and maintenance of pertinent technical information.

Responsibilities: Creating drawings in AutoCAD format, including revisions to existing drawings. Managing the uploading, downloading, filing, and printing of documentation to ensure that all stored data is current. Coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, and consultants to gather support information, facilitating the progression of client projects on site. Compiling all design documentation for presentation to the client. Maintaining and updating checklists and drawing logs. Revising existing drawings as needed.

Requirements:

Essential: Previously worked as a Design Technician or in a similar role. At least 1 year of experience in CAD and Microsoft Office. Skilled in utilising design software. Good attention to detail. Valid driving licence. Right to work in the UK.

Desirable: Previous experience in design for a construction company. Possess degree level qualification. Ability to collaborate with diverse professional backgrounds. Willingness to travel when required.
