Process Technologist O-series

In our Cutting business unit, within division Retail and Food Service Solutions, we are looking for a Process Technologist O-series (PTO) with focus on our Cutting product portfolio. As a PTO you are the link between our Service, Innovation and Sales teams. 
 

If you have a strong analytical mind and you are good at problem solving, we would like to hear from you. In this role you need to demonstrate perseverance and be able to stand your ground when required.

This position in based in Aarhus, Denmark.

Your main responsibilities:

• Test prototype and secure the operational window.
• Further development of 0-series products with the primary aim of making new developments "ready for service" when launched to the market.
• Transfer knowledge about new developments to the internal service organization.
• Work with sales and innovation evaluating "specials" that have new functionality or are outside the operational window.
• Bring field feedback into the innovation process, for product improvements and sustainment.
• Support the internal service organization, either through remote support or in some cases directly in the field.
• Take active part in demos and trials, supporting the Marel Sales teams
• In time become our Cutting application specialist

• An engineering degree in a relevant field, for example but not limited to: mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• 1 - 5 years' experience of working in a technical or food processing environment.
• Knowledge of the companyâs products and processes or similar technology/industry.
• Analytical and detailed oriented.
• Problem solver and capable of working effectively on your own and in a team.
• Strong English skills, both written and verbal
• Customer food processing knowledge and experience in a similar position is a plus.

This position requires some travelling.
