Supplier Quality Manager

Join our team as a Supplier Quality Manager where you'll lead the strategic delivery of supplier management for responsible commodities. You will work closely with the Commodity Manager to define strategy, drive the team to achieve quality targets and requirement, and ensure that quality assurance agreements are carefully drafted and contracts signed.

What you will do

Supplier Quality ManagementCollaborate with the Commodity Manager in Procurement to craft a comprehensive supplier management strategy for responsible commoditiesDrive team members to implement targeted actions for achieving objectivesDefine terms and requirements for Quality Assurance Agreements, ensuring finalization and contract signing with suppliers

Selection, Qualification, and Management of Suppliers:Work closely with procurement to select, qualify, monitor, and develop suppliers according to the Supplier Management procedureConduct on-site supplier assessments with cross-functional teams as part of the qualification process

Component / Material Quality Assurance:Collaborate with designers and suppliers to establish Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements and set up necessary control pointsEnsure proper validation of processes and equipment used in product production by the supplierVerify that the supplier has established the correct processes for product delivery specificationsWork closely with designers and reliability engineers to set up test protocols for First Article release, review reports, and coordinate investigations for major product and process changes initiated by suppliersDefine and establish a global incoming inspection test plan and procedure, aiming to improve cost and delivery performance from the supplier

Supplier Monitoring and Improvement:Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for supplier monitoringCollaborate with Business Quality to track performance and conduct regular meetings for performance reviewsDefine improvement activities with suppliers through SCAR or equivalent processesParticipate in annual supplier performance assessments

Supplier Audit:Perform on-site audits at suppliersTrack and review Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities resulting from the audit
