Vestas Wind Systems A/S, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as SAP PLM-specialist and Chapter Lead. You will be leading a newly established chapter in Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle, named SAP Products. Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. SAP Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within SAP PLM. The chapter is managed out of Aarhus in Denmark, but where you reside is secondary.

Responsibilities Managerial and development responsibility of team of 4. Assess staffing needs between product teams, align with stakeholders and onboard new team members. Provide advanced knowledge and expertise within SAP PLM. Responsible for architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices within SAP PLM. Act as SME within variant configuration in SAP. Act as sparring partner and advisor on implementation of technical visions and roadmaps. Ensure transversal consistency of knowledge and a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications  A Bachelor or Master's degree within Engineering, IT or relevant education with 5+ years of experience within SAP. In-depth technical knowledge of Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Bill of Materials etc. is a benefit. In-depth technical knowledge of variant configuration is required. Experience with additional solutions like SEAL Output Management, Elephant, Enterprise Search is a benefit. Knowledge of architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices.  Experience with agile, DevOps and SCRUM is a benefit. Experience with people management.

Competencies Motivated, creative and result orienteered mindset. A team member with the ability to take a participatory, practical, creative and emphatic role in creating an efficient team. Vast hand-on experience with design, development, implementation and support of digital solutions. Highly effective communicator, excited about collaboration, and with a solution-oriented attitude and mindset. Great communicative skills, fluent in written and verbal English. Ability to identify challenges and set up action plans.
