Position overview:

As our Director, Head of Global Function Business Finance you will lead a team of six finance business partners, each responsible for on distinct functional area. You will be responsible for driving the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analytical efforts including performance management of the organization.

The scope of this role will constitute a natural mix of recurring core FP&A activities and driving current strategic and financial topics, as our team seeks to support the Nilfisk Leadership Team in delivering our strategy and goals.

You will be located at our brand-new Head Office in Nordhavn.

You will be a member of our Group FP&A leadership team, covering FP&A, Business Performance & Analysis where you will lead and drive the Global Functions Business Finance agenda, reporting to the Vice President, Head of FP&A. You will together take the reins of financial leadership and make a profound impact as the business, and you will together be at the forefront of driving financial planning and strategic initiatives that shape Nilfisk future.

Responsibilities:

You will act as the overall Strategic Financial Business Partner for the global support functions (R&D, Marketing, ESG & Sustanability, Product Management, HR, IT, Strategy Office and Finance). You will develop and prioritize functional performance (efficiency and effectiveness) metrics and own, drive and improve the forecasting and budget process for Global Functions as well as the financial improvement agenda.

You will also cover aspect as:

  • Leading a team of six skilled Finance Business Partners across four locations
  • Support strategy implementation of functional strategies by putting numbers to it and by acting as a proactive business partner in the organisation.
  • Drive our innovation and product development agenda by supporting prioritization and capital allocation towards our portfolio incl. business case management
  • Drive and optimize functional performance to strategy, deep dives and analytics and drive continuous improvements and standardization in business partnering and business case development.
  • Accountable for timely and high-quality business controlling and reporting of the monthly financial results, driving one set of numbers, and creating full transparency on drivers behind key areas.

  • A relevant master’s degree in finance, Business Administration or similar.
years of experience from a similar role in an internationally well-reputed company; preferably a listed companyPrevious experience working with R&D as well as other global support functionsManagerial experience with people management responsibility, managing diverse teams - A proven track-record in driving and tracking complex business cases, as well as working within organizations to deliver the benefits.IT and tools skills; including BW, OneStream, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI

As we are an international company with more than 25 different nationalities in the Head Office, you can expect to speak English daily. Some travel is to be expected but will be based on need.
