The RiACT team consists of nine in-house members, with an additional five externals. We're growing and therefore seeking a part-time bookkeeper (student) to support our CFO, Magnus. With us you have the chance to transition into a more permanent position following the completion of your studies.


Job Description

As our Student Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the financial management and record-keeping of our organization. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in accounting and finance, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in business, accounting, or related fields. You will work closely with and report to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO).


Responsibilities

Accounting: Accurately record financial transactions into our accounting software (Billy) and our spreadsheets (Google Sheets).

Documentation and Filing: Organize and maintain financial records, receipts, and documents in an orderly and accessible manner for auditing and reference purposes.

Invoices: Prepare invoices, expense reports, and mark vendor payments in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and company policies.

Project Finances: Keep track of our project finances and hours spent. Prepare and report on European grants using tools such as Spreadsheets, eGrant, and the Eurostars portal.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making and financial analysis. Prepare materials for investors.

Assist with Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering requested documents, verifying information, and assisting auditors as needed. Collaborate with our accountant.

Budgeting: Assist in preparing future budgets using Google Sheets.


Requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree program related to business, accounting, or finance.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Previous experience with accounting software (preferably Billy) is a plus.

Ability to take responsibility and work independently.


Details

Start: We would like you to start from June or as soon as possible thereafter.

Hours: 4 hours weekly or 8 hours bi-weekly. Possibility to expand position to 15-20 hours/week after some time.

Salary: 150 DKK/hour.

Office location: AC Meyers Vænge 15, 2450 Copenhagen SV (We are located in AAU facilities). There is a possibility to schedule occasional remote work.
