About the role
In our Platforms team, we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Systems Engineer,who has the guts to set the direction for Azure ARC and Azure Automation for infrastructure within the Platforms team.

We chose Cloud over OnPrem, having all infrastructure deployed in Azure.

You will be working from our office in Copenhagen, where we show up physically and you’ll be reporting to the Platforms team lead.

What you will be doing

  • Setting the direction for Azure Automation and executing it within the Platforms team.
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to other team members, architects, and other stakeholders across Banking Circle.
  • Supporting our DevOps, IT Security and 24/7/365 monitoring teams.
  • Prepare and participate in audits performed by external and internal IT auditors.
    • We are audited on requirements set forth by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, The Digital Operational Resilience Act & ISO27K.
  • Collaborate with approved third parties to evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and solutions.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role. Preferably within a regulated entity.

  • You want to be around your Banking Circle team members and colleagues.
  • Solid experience in Azure ARC, Azure Automation, Desired State configuration and the Microsoft Graph API.
  • Solid experience with PowerShell.
  • Solid experience with Windows Server deployment, automated patching, and reporting.
  • Solid experience with common Microsoft Windows Server administration.
  • Solid understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure offerings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Core-components.
  • Experience with Log Analytics and reporting.

Definite plusses, not a requirement, hands-on experience with

  • Red Hat Automation Platform or Ansible.
  • IP Networking

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
As a person, you are open-minded and have “I-can-do” attitude. You should take responsibility and take personal ownership of your tasks while also being a knowledge-sharing team-player producing and maintaining related documentation and reports. You have good communication skills in communicating security principles, issues and incidents to the business, peers and management.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages it will be an asset.
