About the department
The Digital Transformation Office is the department responsible for the identification, ideation, funding, and follow-up of new digital initiatives for Development. In a unique setting, we bring together designers, engineers, and healthcare professionals to discover and develop the right solutions. At Novo Nordisk, Development is the area responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, from early drug research to the conduction of trials, to product launch. Development provides medical- and scientific documentation for clinical submissions while adhering to clinical standards, regulations, and business ethics, globally. As a Strategic UX Designer at the Digital Transformation Office, you will be a central part of catalysing digitalisation and transformation of this area.
The team you will be joining in the Digital Transformation Office is called Digital Discovery. We are a team of UX strategists, user researchers, and “product thinkers” who believe that a good user experience of our digital products can significantly improve the quality of life and efficiency for our colleagues, as well as create better lives for patients. To achieve this vision, we help in the very early stages of new digital ideas. We do experiments to prove strong product desirability early on and collaborate extensively with our colleagues from all areas across the Development department. To us, the design role can take many shapes, and we all strive to support and help educate the organisation about user-centred product design.
