About the job

We are looking for a bright, mission-oriented individual to join the growing team in our Copenhagen hub as a Junior Buyer. You’ll be adding your own passion and expertise to a team with an unparalleled knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and specialty produce - united in its commitment to building a new supply chain.

Responsibilities

Maintaining and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers with a particular focus on our colleagues in France & Milan. 

Communicating effectively with our sourcing team to make sure we always have the very best produce in the warehouse at the right time.

Communicating with our sales team about growers and produce.

Ensuring correct stock levels based on sales data and projections.

Collaborating with our sourcing teams to prepare growing plans for the farms we work with.

Quality Assuring all products in the warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction

Assisting the warehouse manager with preparing orders to ensure all orders are thoroughly checked and ready for the customer

About you

Some experience working with fresh produce and/or fine foods

Excellent communication and planning skills

Plenty of initiative and ability to work unsupervised.

Confident in the use of Excel, databases and other Tech programmes

Remain calm under pressure and use reasoned judgement to make quick, solid decisions.

Have a driving licence that can be used in Denmark is a must

Have some Danish language skills - desired but not required

So having the right attitude is a must along with an eagerness to learn every aspect and to share ideas whilst being able to take direct orders.
