Cozy Game Studio is looking for an Art Director to join the team in Copenhagen. As an Art Director at Cozy Game Studio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and aesthetic appeal of our games.

Your creative vision will be instrumental in bringing our cozy gaming experiences to life, ensuring that they resonate with our audience and evoke feelings of comfort and relaxation.


Things you would be doing:

  • Create the art direction for our current game Spirit World, as well as the company’s visual identity

  • Lead the art direction, ensuring consistency in visual style and quality across all aspects of the game

  • Produce art assets

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other artists

  • Collaborate closely with the game design and development team to translate creative concepts into engaging visual experiences

  • Develop and maintain art pipelines, processes, and standards to streamline production workflows


    Things we look for in a candidate:

  • Prior experience working as an Art Director or equivalent on a successful mobile title

Prior experience managing artists

A strong understanding of a variety of art disciplines with the ability to give direction

A desire for creating a unique art style, but with a broad market appeal (not too indie cool - not too F2P polished, but somewhere in the middle)

An understanding of F2P development principles, including data-driven development, user validation and technical constraints

Experience with Unity and its technical constraints/considerations
