As our Senior Director R&D you will primarily be working at our office in Odense heading up one of our product development units with focus on our cobot products.

Besides, you will be an integral part of the Product Creation leadership team reporting into our Vice President R&D.

We are looking for an exceptional R&D leader with a solid technical background, bringing a track record of building best in class tech products. You will be comfortable influencing and leading across a wide and diverse product portfolio, and you will lead with positivity, ambition and authenticity.

You are:

A proven R&D leader of cross functional teams managing the development process from ideation to release and onwards. An effective communicator, both verbal and written, and you can build strong relationships with people across the organization. Deeply user and customer focused and passionate about understanding customer needs and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Independent, charismatic and resilient, but still empowering and an excellent team player. Driven by complex tasks and you can drive organizational change. Having a good experience with agile development processes. Working closely with Operations and Sourcing and optimizing time to market and cost

You have:

General technical foundation within hardware, firmware and software. The capability to challenge and coach the empowered development teams. An understanding of the importance of developing and delivering high quality products based on new and innovative technologies. Experience with the lean start-up method with fast prototyping to create evidence and ensuring optimal product and market fit.
