As our new Mechanical Design Engineer you will, together with your colleagues, be focusing on our portfolio within prepared foods that includes mixers and grinders. You will be a part of a team of 70 colleagues that is located in both Denmark and the Netherlands. In your daily work you will be a part of a team of 15 members. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you can use all your creativity to develop innovative production systems. If you like to be in a position where you can turn ideas into mechanical designs and industrial solutions, this is the perfect role for you. Your daily to-do list will look a lot like this:

In cooperation with a project team, efficiently design and develop all mechanical aspects of new machinery and solutions, assemblies and components and to prepare and issue documentation and drawings as required by the Product Development Process (PDP). This includes continuous improvement of techniques Working in project teams on the development of concepts and be responsible for the testing, investigation and verification of your concepts and designs Paying particular attention to the implementation of the function, hygienic and cleaning aspects, reliability, safety, production technologies and cost price To action the mechanical design and development of new machinery, assemblies and components, to satisfy the design and cost requirements and relevant international standards to prepare assembly/detail drawings and part lists Perform evaluations, testing and analyses at customer site

Hold a degree within engineering such as mechanical, mechatronics or other technical fields. Have some years’ experience in the design of technical systems from a similar industry, preferably the food industry Have experience with drawing tools, databases, and programming for preparation of documentation Are familiar with CAD and PDM/PLM tools. Have knowledge and understanding of the interaction between documentation and the integration to ERP-systems Have good English skills, both written and verbal

The job requires the ability to travel on an as-needs basis which is estimated to 10-15% of your time.
