Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Strategy & Portfolio

VPS Strategy and Planning is a new department established to facilitate the strategic agenda in the Power Solutions area as well as developing and supporting large programs/projects of significant strategic or transformational impact. Our aim is to ensure Vestas' unparalleled position as a technology leader in the wind industry - while preparing for significant and profitable growth. The team works closely with senior leaders in Vestas Power Solutions and stakeholders across the functional areas of Vestas.

Responsibilities

Continuously work with the VPS Strategy and Portfolio and stakeholders (including finance) across VPS to optimize strategic portfolio planning, intelligence and insights and strategic initiatives

Accountability for own driving own analytical workstreams on VPS portfolio data to support strategic portfolio planning

With the VPS strategy and planning team, establishing analytical framework and tools to map and enhance VPS portfolio data, including quality of projects' cost, resource and value creation and interdependencies

Use quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to establish transparent reports for senior management on VPS portfolio on costs and resources (hours)

Support generation of insights for ongoing strategic projects and programmes in VPS

Set up, administrate and educate key users in VPS on using standard reports and overviews in key portfolio planning tools (including SAP PPM, PowerBI, SharpCloud)

Interface with sub-portfolio and other key stakeholders (e.g., regional CTO organizations) owners to continuously keep portfolio forecasts on a 3-year horizon updated accurate

Qualificiations

Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, data analysis, engineering or similar

Recently completed corporate Graduate program: 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Advanced user of SAP, PowerBI and Excel

Competancies

Good business understanding and acuteness enabling understanding of relation between technology investments and business value

Structured, zero-defect inquisitve mindset, comfortable working with large data sets and good at analysis

Organized, systematic and with attention to detail

Ability to understand and positively influence data inputs from multiple stakeholders

Great data visualization skills - and ability to create impactful PowerPoint presentations

Independent working style and pride in shaping own approach and methodology with limited oversight

Ability to understand "the bigger picture" and how great data analysis has an impact on strategy
