Weibel is recognized as world-leader in radar technology, with our radars performing with a precision largely unmatched by competitors. Applications for our radars include Space Research, Missile Test- and Tracking Systems. Radars are produced at our Allerød factory, and about 98% of Weibel radars are exported. Increasing customer demand means that the company is experiencing rapid growth.

As part of this growth, we are ramping up our Product Management organization and we are now looking for an ambitious Technical Product Manager.

Your role and responsibilities
As our new Technical Product Manager, you will participate in developing Weibel’s market and product strategy for our Instrumentation Radars in close collaboration with our Product Line Director. This includes generating and maintaining market plans, defining product strategies and roadmaps, supporting Sales Managers with sales materials and at customer meetings, tendering and much more.

The Product Manager is a vital link between our products and our customers and interprets customer needs and requirements into solutions and product definitions.

Your key areas of responsibilities will include:

• Drive and support sales and channel efforts.
• Tendering support to Bid Management and Sales.
• Marketing planning including mapping of relevant market segments and definition of success criteria for target segments.
• Product Management including life cycle management, gate keeping of non-standard specifications, stakeholder management etc.
• Direct management of – or involvement in – strategically significant opportunities or delivery projects.
• Driving business development activities that will promote the proliferation of Weibel solutions in the market place.

You can expect approximately 60 travel days per year.

About you
The position as Product Manager requires a person with a strong technical background who has the ability to understand complex products combined with a commercial aptitude for understanding market segments, customers, competitors, and technology trends.

You have a strategic mind-set while at the same time being operational in the execution of your tasks. Furthermore, you have a strong drive and energy that enables you to reach your objectives through others.

• A relevant educational background within Engineering.
• Holistic understanding of radars – or an ability and interest to learn.
• Experience from development, sales or product management of technical systems.
• A strong relationship builder, communicator, and negotiator.
• Excellent in motivating colleagues and creating momentum through others.
• Superior in dealing with customer relationships and able to communicate in an assertive way to ensure that internal goals and customer expectations are fully met.
• English at negotiation level both spoken and written.

The position will require that you can obtain a security clearance.
