We are looking for a Sr. Project & Business Development Manager, located in Viby J, to guide the strategic development and take lead on our large scale projects across Denmark Logistics.

 

How you will make an impact

As Sr. Logistics Project & Business Development Manager, you will be part of the Danish Logistics organization as well as the leadership team with direct reporting line to the Sr Director of Logistics Denmark. You will be responsible for leading our large scale improvement projects and act as counterpart for logistics in other main projects across Arla Foods Supply Chain.

Areas of responsibility also include:  

 

  • Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and developing improvements proposals
  • Program lead improvements for transport, warehouse, planning and production
  • Being a sparring partner for strategy development, securing operational excellence
  • Supporting business planning and monthly execution within Denmark Logistics

 

As you will work with stakeholders across the Supply Chain in Denmark this role will include some travel activity.

 

What will make you successful

You have a relevant master’s degree and several years of experience in driving large scale projects to deliver significant business impact. Experience from working with logistics is seen as an advantage. In order to be successful in this role we believe that you have:

 

  • Strong analytical and methodological skills in identifying development opportunities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Flair for stakeholder management and is a strong networker
  • An ability to build positive relationships for collaboration
  • A good sense for organizing and enjoy putting structure to your work  

 

As a person you are driven and ambitious by nature and you bring energy and initiative to the projects you take part in. Your planning skills are solid, and your analytical skills and ability to conceptualize means that you create tangible results. Furthermore, you are familiar with change management and development, just as you have a sound financial understanding and a keen commercial focus.
