As our Senior Controller (Audit and Accounting), you will be part of our Finance (DK) team, reporting to Finance Director Dianna Buck. Weâre looking for a friend to be located in Copenhagen together with the majority of the broader Finance function, led by CFO Rie Ruby. The Finance function consists of 61 employees and it spans all 4 Lunar locations (Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Aarhus).

As a Senior Controller with our organization, your role revolves around key responsibilities that prioritize financial expertise, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. Here's what you can expect to be doing:

• You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity. This involves drawing up comprehensive accounts, interpreting Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and understanding Balance Sheets. You'll also be responsible for managing our annual accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• We expect you to take charge and drive initiatives independently. You'll be leading projects that involve various stakeholders across the organization, demonstrating your ability to strategize, plan, and execute with minimal supervision.

• This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. You will ensure our operations adhere to complex regulatory standards, safeguarding our commitment to compliance.

• Effective engagement with external auditing entities is a significant aspect of your role. You will be responsible for transparent and cooperative communication with auditors, contributing to the financial transparency of our organization.

To be successful in this role, youâll need

• Proficiency in preparing both half-annual and full-year financial reports, highlighting your expertise in financial statement creation

• Proven track record of effectively engaging in dialogue with external auditing entities, ensuring transparent and cooperative audit processes.

• Demonstrated experience in internal or external audit processes, showcasing your ability to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends, identify issues and find solutions.

• Strong general stakeholder management skills, including the ability to lead and manage processes, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

• Strong financial background with at least 3 years of experience in one or more Controller roles in the banking industry focusing on Accounting and Audit.

• Understanding of IFRS9 and IFRS16 with a passion for staying up-to-date with changes and developments in the accounting world.

• A CMA, Accounting, and controlling or another degree within accounting or finance.

• Danish and English Fluency.
