Backend Developer

In Zuuvi we are on a fast-paced journey and therefore we are searching for a new awesome backend developer to join our amazing team. 

A short introduction to the position

Our product is the core of our business and we are looking for a skilled backend developer to play a vital part in building a scalable, strong platform in a microservice architecture. The position is full-time and located in Copenhagen where you will be part of a fun and informal work culture. 

Throughout a week you will mainly be doing backend tasks for bigger projects in an agile environment but you will also refine and estimate future tasks, help investigate and solve issues from customers, and explore new technologies and ways to complete your tasks. 

We mainly keep meetings and other interruptions at a minimum, but together with the team, you are a key source of information, and therefore your knowledge is sometimes needed in other departments to answer questions.

Zuuvi is a fast-growing scale-up located in Copenhagen, Denmark. With our design platform, users can produce best-in-class digital ads at scale. 

At Zuuvi we aspire to empower creativity for digital winners. We do so by enabling digital marketing professionals and designers to produce high-quality ads in minutes. Currently, our customers are medium and large enterprise customers, primarily in Scandinavia and Benelux, including brands such as 3, Shaping New Tomorrow, Schibsted, Toyota, and ILVA among others, but we are scaling up and are now expanding to new exciting markets.

Preferably you have some years of experience working within agile development and enjoy sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. Frontend skills and knowledge from working within SaaS are a plus, but not required. What does our tech stack look like?

We use a combination of different languages such as Python, React, and Node JS. Currently, we are phasing out all of our PHP. We are hosted across several providers such as AWS and Digital Ocean. Currently, we are using Docker / K8S and AWS Serverless. We run a complete CI/CD setup in Gitlab using Prometheus / Uptime.com for monitoring and Elasticsearch for logging. We use TDD, BDD, and Cypress JS for writing tests and have a very advanced setup in regard to quality assurance.

We prefer if you have experience in the areas mentioned below – but the most important is that you have a positive attitude towards learning new things and updating your skill set

We are mainly looking for a backend developer with some experience

The office is located at Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

A test will be included in the process if called upon for an interview.
