We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing team. As a Student Assistant in Global IT you will work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that they all get the best user experience, while adhering to the governance required for a biopharmaceutical company.

We will provide the needed training and mentoring to get you started and continuously add more to your responsibilities and skills. You will become part of an international team with a big exposure, and it will be a great opportunity for you to grow professionally and get your foot in the door to a great biotech company.

You will be joining the Finance & Product Supply Product team in Global IT, and report directly to Mikkel Lund, IT Product Owner, and Lene Larsen, People Leader, who are both based in Hellerup, Denmark.

Your support tasks will include:

Dispatch of support tickets, ensuring swift response to incidents and requests Administrate user roles and responsibilities within the security framework. Governance communication to the user community through SharePoint Assist with learning management and system testing. Reporting and general support and assistance to the team with various ad hoc tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably you are in your third year of your Bachelor studies in the fields of Finance, Supply Chain Management, IT or something completely different.

Furthermore, you have:

A quality mindset. Flair for IT, data, and business processes. Focus on structure and detail. Strong communication skills.

Key competencies:

You are a team player, service-minded, and have a can-do attitude.

We expect you to be curious at heart and eager to learn.

You have a pragmatic approach, and you are not afraid to learn from your mistakes. You can work independently with limited supervision, but at the same time you have a well-developed intuition for when to ask for help.

You are conscientious about your tasks and can meet deadlines.

Work hours: 15 hours a week is expected, in peak times up to 20 hours a week.

Flexibility around your exams can be arranged with your manager.

Office: Ascendis Pharma resides in a wonderful office facility in Tuborg Havn in Hellerup with a view of the harbor, the canals, and the sea.
