GN is subject to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which drastically increases our environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting requirements. Having better ESG data quality, systems, and controls will not only help us comply with these requirements, but also ensure that we have the required ESG data foundation to meet our ambitious sustainability targets for 2025, 2030 and beyond.

We are looking for a CSRD Project Manager who will be the driving force behind ensuring that we comply with CSRD working very closely with ESG controllers, Group Sustainability, senior management and the rest of the business to create the ESG reporting foundation to drive real impact for the environment and people across our value chain.

You will be part of a team of 6 ESG and sustainability colleagues. It is a new role located in the finance organization and reporting to the Global Head of Sustainability Maurits Hekking.


Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: Develop CSRD implementation plan in accordance with legal requirements and outcome of double materiality process Facilitate execution of the project by managing collaboration between ESG Finance, Group Sustainability and key functions in business Document progress in accordance with external assurance requirements and report project status on monthly basis to CSRD SteerCo Support on drafting Annual Report and external assurance process Track changes in CSRD legislation and adjust project accordingly if needed

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have a curiosity to learn about ESG and CSRD.
You are open-minded and thrive with engaging and building relationships across the whole organization. You can work independently, but you also like to work in teams both in a leading as well as a contributing role.

You have a track record of successfully driving complex projects with multiple stakeholders to completion. You take an organized approach to your tasks, are able to prioritize and you are comfortable working closely with senior management. You also: Hold a master’s degree within a relevant field. You have extensive experience with project management, ideally in a finance setting You have experience or an interest in CSRD and/or ESG You are fluent in English
