S&you, an international brand specializing in Professional Staffing, Search, and Selection of Qualified Personnel, is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a multinational client in the General Construction sector.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop project plans, define scope of work, create schedules, and set budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders for project success.
- Quality Control: Establish and enforce standards to ensure mechanical work meets industry requirements. Conduct inspections and take corrective actions.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, promote safety culture, identify hazards, conduct training, and minimize risks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers. Provide updates, address concerns, and resolve conflicts.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, generate progress reports, and report on project status.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve challenges during construction, find innovative solutions, and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
1. Mechanical Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and equipment installation.
2. Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
3. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
4. Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
5. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges and make effective decisions.
