Senior Software Developer (Trade Operations)

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable resilient applications for interfacing with energy markets such as Nord Pool.
  • Collaborate with domain experts across the organization to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues as they occur in internal applications and against third party applications.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our application architecture scales with the business.
Requirements

  • A master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience with building software as a software engineer
  • Eagerness to learn and a willingness to collaborate

Manager, Trade Operations Development

We value existing experience, but the willingness to learn and grow on the job is more important.

The items listed below are desired skills.

  • Experience in C#
  • Experience with Azure SQL or SQL Server
  • Experience with Message Brokers or Event Streams
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or a competing cloud platform
  • Ability and interest in navigating a complex and evolving domain
  • Experience working within the energy sector
