QHSE Manager

We are seeking a QHSE Manager for our factory in Holstebro. You will be at the forefront, passionate about occupational health, quality, and environmental management. McBride is Europe's leading manufacturer of laundry and cleaning products with 14 factories across Europe and Asia. Your workplace will be at our factory in Holstebro, where we produce laundry powder for global distribution. As our new QHSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of quality products to our customers worldwide.

You will lead and coach a team of 5 employees and become part of the factory's management team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated colleagues across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

In addition to developing employees and the department, your main responsibility will be to ensure the continuous delivery of quality products and compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. You will be in charge of maintaining and improving QHSE management systems, conducting internal and external audits. Being a Lead Auditor in quality, environmental, or occupational health will be beneficial. You will serve as a key link in coordinating and executing group-wide initiatives and tasks.

Your tasks will include:

• Conducting internal audits, management evaluations, and preparing for external audits
• Leading and participating in projects and changes within the QHSE department and the wider organization
• Engaging with authorities, customers, and other stakeholders

There will also be miscellaneous tasks where your readiness to handle unforeseen circumstances and assist with ongoing practical QHSE department tasks will be crucial.

Prior experience with ISO14001, BRC, IFS, or similar certifications is highly advantageous.

In addition to a minimum bachelor's degree, you have

• Experience in implementing, developing, and operating management systems and HACCP principles
• The ability to build strong relationships to address issues constructively
• Goal-oriented with the capability to drive processes. Lean experience is a plus.
• Experience in personnel management and developing your team members

There are different pathways to this role. Perhaps you have a background in the food industry or another sector and have worked in a similar position in a production company for several years. The key is your willingness and enthusiasm to work with quality, environment, safety, take an active leadership role in the team, and collaborate within the organization.

You will have a broad network of colleagues in multiple countries, and as English is the corporate language, excellent communication skills in both Danish and English, both written and spoken, are essential.
