We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Design Quality Specialist to ensure Quality Reliability in product development projects at Danfoss Hydronics. In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse international team, including design engineers, quality engineers, and product managers, to uphold our product's value and customer satisfaction. The Senior Design Quality Specialist will be involved in the development of electronic, software-based, and digital products within the Hydronics sector.
This role will be located in Kolding, Silkeborg, or Nordborg, and will involve occasional travel (typically 5-10 days per year).
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Design Quality Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
- Guiding Product Development Teams through the Design Quality process, ensuring customer feedback and quality targets are met.
- Approving key deliverables such as Customer Requirement Specifications and Product Specifications and ensuring their accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enhancing project quality maturity by validating product tests and test coverage.
- Monitoring project deliverables progress and identifying any missing tasks.
- Sharing best practices with Design Quality Specialists and peers.
- Introducing APQP practices and tools within the Hydronics RD&E organization.
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in R&D environments, driving FMEA processes and ensuring product quality.
- A degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in quality tools like APQP, FMEA, CRS, PS, PTAP, etc.
- Familiarity with quality management standards such as IATF16949, ISO9001, and EN17025.
- A problem-solving approach and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and build positive relationships across different levels of the organization.
- Experience in a global and diverse work environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of DevOps and PowerBI is a plus.
