Danske Bank is embarking on an ambitious and extensive transformation journey within the Financial Crime control ecosystem, involving large-scale technology and process implementations and alignment of organization and governance to meet the bank's and customers' future needs. While supervising programs across all financial crime disciplines, the solutions need to align with a strategic and complementary set of controls to ensure consistency, efficiency, and strong risk management.

Besides enhancing our financial crime prevention controls and processes, it is essential to address the various aspects holistically as a unified financial crime ecosystem to drive consistency, coherence, and robust risk management.

We are a team of change professionals predominantly from project management, optimization, and consulting backgrounds, representing various nationalities. On a daily basis, we collaborate in task forces, supporting each other to advance our overall change agenda. As our new Senior Project Manager, you will become part of a task force, assisting in providing structure to different projects and advancing the change agenda within one of our 1LOD Financial Crime uplift programs.

Depending on your experience and expertise, various levels of seniority in the role may be considered.

About the Role

  • Drive projects or contribute using your organizational abilities, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills to implement change from inception to completion
  • Introduce ideas, structure, and problem-solving skills to support our change agenda
  • Engage with all relevant stakeholders, balancing different requirements to ensure the effective design and execution of change
  • Undertake ad hoc responsibilities to promote the change agenda in 1st Line Financial Crime
  • Mentor colleagues to achieve excellence and exchange best practices to enhance team efficiency
  • Organize, facilitate, and lead senior leadership offsites

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving projects or overseeing a prioritized change agenda within an international organization
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and adept at overcoming obstacles
  • Readiness to take charge of advancing towards a goal, enjoy collaborating with individuals, navigating a network of diverse stakeholders, fostering relationships, and facilitating a unified direction to drive change
  • Possess an analytical mindset, capable of dissecting complex problems, identifying optimal solutions, and employing judgment to balance conflicting demands and potential challenge resolutions
  • Relevance of university education in fields like business management, engineering, project management, or related disciplines
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent communication skills and thrive in structured work environments
  • Experience with change initiatives within an in-house development setting or management consulting company is advantageous
