Senior Accountant

About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Senior Accountant, who can contribute to the high quality of the internal accounting processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic Finance department in a well-established growth company with a focus on solar energy.

As a Senior Accountant at Nordic Solar A/S, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks in close collaboration with the other employees in the Finance team. You will report directly to the Head of Group Accounting.

Work tasks include:
Your work tasks as a Senior Accountant can be summarised as follows:

• Accounting
• Electronic invoice handling
• Reconciliations

In addition to the above tasks, you will handle creditor management, payroll, financial and debtor accounting as well as work with invoicing and VAT accounts. In the role, you are also responsible for bank payments and travel settlements, as well as you are expected to work with various ad-hoc tasks.

Experience
The ideal candidate holds at least 6-8 years of relevant experience within accounting. You might have an education within administration, finance and accounting, but this is not a prerequisite as long as you have the right amount of experience and a great interest in accounting. It is considered an advantage if you have experience with payroll.

In this position, you must be able to work professionally in both Danish and English, and you are expected to possess great IT skills within the office package, especially Excel, as well as financial systems, preferably Business Central.
