Freight Coordinator

As a Freight Coordinator, you'll continue existing, well-functioning processes while also putting your own mark and automating where it makes sense.

LogisticsMaster is Gabriel's department for raw material sourcing, production and transport planning, customer service, and timely delivery to customers in Denmark. The department currently consists of 9 employees who handle procurement, transportation, and customer service, and are responsible for daily communication with both suppliers and customers in Gabriel's portfolio.

As a Freight Coordinator, you will be based at the headquarters in Aalborg and will also interact with our international partners and transport providers.

Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse, focusing on:

• Managing the order process and continuous follow-up
• Coordinating and reporting deliveries from warehouses and via freight forwarders
• Arranging daily transports, liaising with suppliers, customers, and freight forwarders
• Arranging transportation and handling customs procedures
• Obtaining freight quotes and conducting post-calculation
• Contributing to automation of manual processes
• Handling ad hoc tasks

In this role, there are opportunities to contribute to the development and reinterpretation of Gabriel's transport processes. For the right candidate, the position can evolve to encompass greater responsibilities in operations, contract negotiations, and business responsibilities in freight within the next few years.

Your background could include education as a freight forwarder, and even newly graduated freight forwarders are welcome to apply. Your experience may also come from previous jobs in the forwarding industry or as a freight forwarder in a production company. Proficiency in both written and spoken Danish and English is essential.

Occasional travel days to suppliers and partners abroad may be required.
