If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is looking for a proactive and inquisitive student to join their Global Public Affairs team, which collaborates closely with the wider Global Public Affairs, Communications, and Marketing team.
The Role:
We are a small yet dedicated Global Public Affairs team, giving you the opportunity to work independently on your tasks while also supporting the team and other departments in accomplishing their projects. You will be reporting to the Head of Public Affairs for Denmark and the EU, and your main duties will involve assisting with various public affairs tasks. Some specific responsibilities include:
- Managing projects related to public affairs, such as organizing key policy events and conferences featuring CIP or with senior management from CIP
- Creating PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external use, like decision materials for senior management and presentations for investor meetings, using tools like Think Cell
- Conducting research and data analysis by summarizing important reports, legislative proposals, and initiatives
- Supporting the team in developing data management tools to track and filter essential content, such as Excel spreadsheets for internal meetings or reporting purposes
- Assisting in mapping exercises covering global events, as well as regional and local business associations related to the energy sector
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a motivated and optimistic 3rd-year BSc or 1st-year MSc student, studying a relevant subject at a Danish university. While experience in a related student or intern position is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- A genuine interest in public policy, geopolitics, or public affairs, along with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- The ability to work autonomously, create organization, and take accountability for progress and outcomes
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to simplify complex issues into easily understandable topics; proficiency in Danish is a plus
- A positive attitude, a collaborative approach, and a sincere desire to work in a thriving international company
- A curious and creative mindset, with the ability to think innovatively and challenge conventional methods to discover continuous improvements
- A knack for creating visually engaging content
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
This part-time position requires 15-20 hours per week and will be based at CIP's Copenhagen Office on Gdanskgade 18, 2150 Nordhavn. CIP is known for retaining talented individuals, offering potential permanent employment post-graduation in this Analyst role.
