The Role

The Facility Manager will lead a small team and report to the Director of Facility Management in Denmark.

At Genmab, we are offering a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team of passionate and innovative colleagues. Besides engaging and developmental tasks, you will have the chance to manage and develop the team.

You will oversee our 'hard' FM services at our lab/office locations in Copenhagen/Ballerup. And this role allows you to work in an extra[not]ordinary TM organization and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of hard-services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Lead daily technical operations, service requests, and maintenance across our DK sites.
  • Implement technical maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning in partnership with building management.
  • Develop effective strategies and protocols to improve operational performance and align with regulations and global facilities standards.
  • Manage records and documentation, including insurance plans, service contracts, and financial records.
  • Ensure all permits are up to date and in compliance with regulations.
  • Use data and analytics to track performance metrics and identify areas that can be improved.
  • Develop and lead the "hard services" operating budget, optimizing costs while ensuring quality and service levels.
  • Handle external hard services vendor/partner relationships, including procurement, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop emergency procedures for DK facilities.
  • Serve as project lead for facilities-related projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Facilities Management.
  • Previous line management experience would be an advantage but is not a requirement
  • Demonstrated understanding of safe operation of facilities equipment and maintenance.
  • Experience in vendor, contract, and budget management.
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written - and both English and Danish. English is our corporate language, and all written materials are produced in English.
  • A full driver's license.
