YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

As Product developer for RTW Woven categories, you will be part of the RTW Development team at the GANNI HQ office in Copenhagen

We are looking for full-time employment in a period of 10-12 months

You will be in charge of the Product Development process and Product Engineering/Technical of RTW wovens from initial design to sales samples arriving.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing products in close collaboration with Senior Designer - securing intended fit and silhouette for prototypes and incoming sales samples.
  • Lineplan adherence for the category, managing overdevelopment and working with price brackets.
  • Gatekeeping KPI's and timeline within the development phase and ensure proto sample quality.
  • Co-steering material choices for the product group together with Fabric Development, herunder upscaling preferred materials and full quality compliance
  • Creating style specs / tech packs, measurement charts and grading in compliance with internal guidelines
  • Ordering and receiving Proto samples, measure and lead fittings together with the designer.
  • Communicate proto amendments to suppliers within the collection deadlines
  • Receive price quotes and aligning flash pricing and possible style amendments with the Production team.
  • Order sales samples and ensure timely delivery.
  • Create, enrich and maintain product master data in ERP/PLM systems as well as supporting documents.
  • Daily communication with GANNI suppliers

    The role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders from Design, Merchandise and Production Teams as well as a high level of attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on and creative environment.

    The role is not supported by a Pattern Designer and therefore needs to hold this knowledge and ability to execute operationally.

    MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    • Strong garment construction skills and solid technical understanding of garments
    • Excellent digital proficiency, skilled Adobe illustrator user and experience with Centric PLM is a plus but not a necessity
    • Ability to work independently in a creative capacity when required
    • Team approach and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests while working in a high pace environment
    • Excellent time management skills
    • An understanding and connection with the GANNI brand aesthetic
    • Worked in a contemporary or luxury fashion company
